SummitDown specialise in guided ‘All Mountain’ biking holidays in two of the finest mountain bike destinations in Italy,  Lake Garda and Finale Ligure.  Using our custom uplift van to gain most of the elevation our professional Mountain Bike Leaders will guide you down massive alpine descents on seemingly endless perfect flowing single track.  We ensure that every day of your holiday is filled with memorable trail action, there are no ‘filler’ trails on our trips!  All our routes are ‘high-lights‘ and represent the best riding in the region.

In 2012 we will be running exclusive racing itineraries, if you want to battle it out in the mighty Megavalanche,  join in the festival fun at the Pass’portes Du Soleil or ride some sublime single track in the exciting new SuperEnduro series held at Italy’s finest mountain biking locations, we have the itinerary for you!  Run by passionate bikers we will ensure you get the most out of your mountain biking holiday, whether you want a week riding perfect alpine singletrack or to challenge yourself racing events such as the mighty Megavalanche, we have the perfect holiday for you!”

Make awesome new friends

We run our mountain biking holidays in small groups (max 8), catering for singles, couples and small groups, so if you are a solo rider, no problem, you will have a great time with a group of like-minded friends. We keep our mountain biking group sizes small to ensure that you gain maximum enjoyment on the trails, and we can tailor the trails to suit the ability of the group.  With multiple guides we can always find you challenging mountain biking terrain if you want to ‘test your skills’ or find easier beautifully scenic terrain if you want a more relaxing day.

Flexible and tailored daily guiding

If you want to experience some of Europe’s finest mountain biking terrain but only have limited time available we can make sure you get the most of of that precious time with our bespoke holidays.  We understand that for most modern riders, holidays are a compromise between finding good trails and the needs of partners and children so we offer a more flexible guiding service in Lake Garda and Finale Ligure where you can join a group of riders for as many days as you like and take full advantage of our uplifts and guiding experience.  We will make sure that every hour of your day is spent on great trails and can help with bike hire, please contact us to discuss your requirements

If you are just starting out or want to brush up on some skills we can offer you inclusive MTB coaching.  Our fully qualified guides can help you with simple techniques that will get you riding more confidently and faster.  We deliver the optional coaching in the form of informal on-the-trail sessions or 1:1 sessions where you will gain years of riding technique in a single session. We ensure that whatever your experience level, you will come away riding more confidently, fluid and faster..  Please see our testimonials for some kind words from our students.
